How to use an eye contour cream correctly?

The skin around your eyes is thinner and more fragile than the skin on the rest of your face. It’s more susceptible to damage and dryness, meaning everyone can benefit from a dedicated eye cream — but it’s important to know how to apply it correctly. Here’s how.

Firstly, you want to be using a product that's specially formulated for the delicate eye area. Your regular moisturiser won’t do.

Before applying, make sure your face is freshly cleansed. Use your eye cream every morning and night for best results, after serum but before moisturiser.

Dot eye cream underneath and around the eye in a semi-circle using your ring finger — it puts the least amount of pressure on the skin compared other fingers. A pea-size amount of product will be enough for both eyes.

Gently tap the eye cream into the skin. Avoid rubbing it in, as this can be too harsh for the fragile eye area, leading to irritation and damage.
