When does baby acne go away?
  1. When does baby acne go away?

Baby acne is a totally normal condition that affects around 20% of newborns, usually appearing within the first few weeks of a baby's life.

Luckily, it typically goes away on its own without treatment — all you need is patience. While it can vary from baby to baby, baby acne usually clears up within a few weeks to a few months. However, it’s worth nothing that some babies may continue to have acne for up to six months. Just give time, don’t stress, and wait for the acne to run its course.

If you’re concerned your baby’s acne is severe or lasts longer than a few months, we recommend speaking with your pediatrician who can recommend appropriate treatment if required.
